Our newest addition to our ignition parts line. We take our Lightened Hammer, send it to blueing, and grind the flats on the sides to create an unique look to an already unique part.
There are only a limited number in stock so get yours quick!

Our hammers should not be coated by applications that require the product to be heated. These coatings heat the hammer and can cause the hammer to become brittle.

Some coatings such as Robar’s NP3 will work fine, but please consult the coater before to make sure the process is safe for heat treated components.

Coating The Hammer can Lead To Fractures And Will Void The Warranty.

A love of guns runs in my family. My grandparents were NRA instructors, and my dad was an avid gun collector. I started tinkering with rifles early on, curious how they worked. In my early 20’s, I took a 2-year correspondence course on gunsmithing, and completed it in 5 months. Soon after, I went to a local gunsmith to ask them some questions about the bluing process, and 2 hours later walked out with a job. Five years later, I decided it was time to open my own shop, and was fortunate enough to be in a position to create Evolution Gun Works.
